You found me in my lonesome meadow
Your light so blazing; it kidnaped shadows
We talked and laughed 'til almost dawn
One hour with you and I was gone
It wasn't long 'til I knew
The type of disaster I was falling into
For I saw the flame that encircled your soul
Even before my heart you had stole.
You're a wildfire, baby, there's chaos in your bones
You're just a walking sin refusing to atone
You brought light to my meadow, but then you burned it down. Saw the destruction that you make and ran yourself out of town.
You're a wildfire, baby, wild and out of control.
You're just an empty vessel, how ironic that you made me whole.
I've tried to smother it, but it just burns hotter
It's too big to extinguish with a bucket of water.
You're a wildfire, baby, a dangerous force of nature.
How I miss the days when you were just a stranger.
