I told you I would be lost in the whirlpool of your own sense of self
I told you I wasn't what you desired, just another daisy amongst a field of flowers
waiting to be crushed under the gallop of your feet
But I forgot my own words
I became lost in the whirlpool of your own self righteousness
I was crushed by your feet
And each night
I wish
You would try to drown me onefinal time
I wish
You would try to destroy me one final time
So I could say
What I've known since the beginning
You
Could never love a girl like me.
