The indisputable destructive passing of time By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
" The worst part is
nothing terrible happened
to make us have to end ....
We simply ran out of time."
All of our last days are filled
with far too many kisses,
of the heartbroken
variety.
there is a horrible,
heart crushing, kind of
passion that comes from
knowing our particular brand
of love, is a ticking
time bomb!
You hold me
in a way that hurts me!
Yet I say nothing,
part of me hopes
your body engulfs mine,
so we can not be torn apart.
These days it's hard to remember
any other kind of passion weshared,
though i know weshared so much!
And even that kicking desperation
is fading,
Till I can only remember
losing grip of you.
Being gone from you reminds
me how i'm broken.
But I can not even say
you broke me.
see
nothing horrible happened,
except the most horrible thing of all,
we simply ran out of time!
