I'm thinking it's an Oak By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Beneath a branch
I sit and wait
Taking advantage of the shade
Leaves as big as my hand
blocking the sun
I rest my back
upon the tree's trunk
A massive piece of greenery
this tree
that supports and protects me
I sit
enjoying the cool breeze
as I wait
My lover late
nothing unusual
She procrastinates
but I don't mind
I'm relaxed
not worrying with time
She'll come soon
and I'll not stress her
Just to see her will be a pleasure
We'll spend some time
holding hands
She'll make me feel like
the world's luckiest man
Then she'll have to leave
and tomorrow
once again
I'll meet her
under this magnificently
perfect tree
