Vitruvian man By aldo kraas, www.PoetryPoem.com/poet11586 Unlock all Features - Upgrade to Poetry Prime
Those who see him thinks he's not human,
Four legs and four arms extended on a pice of paper,
Imprisoned on a cage of square and circle.
His stare is vacant, like the space around him,
But if you stare a little closer you can see a grin,
Probably making fun of you since he goes to the gym,
As you can see the muscles around his limb,
and his physique being slim.
There are ones who believe him to be the son of god,
For such a majestic piece of art, da Vinci must be applaud,
Even the architect Vitruvius stands in awe:
He was able to bond art and science during the Renaissance,
Believed by many such a thing was nonsense.
"Beware of the church", said his sponsor,
"Its dangerous to produce work with such content"
But the Vitruvian man stands intact,
Accompanied by notes of Vitruvius, its measurements are exact.
When girls see him they overreact,
by the tiny penis hanging with his sack.
But after all, it is abstract.
