Poetic-Verses

'' Don't Wait Till Reality Bites ''

Pretending you're hard,
Can be your ace card,
But remember it can also backfire,
Reputations can be difficult to discard,
You then think you're a gun for hire.

Being who you are not,
Can hurt you a lot,
You'll be forever looking over your shoulder,
When not if you are finally caught,
It's like being hit by a boulder.

Living a lie,
Others you decry,
Life will become so uncouth,
When asked a question you cannot reply,
What's deception and what is the truth?

You'll lose all trust,
Think it's unjust,
That's the joy of your fantasy living,
People will view you with total disgust,
Your life will become so unforgiving.

Enemies or friends,
That all depends,
On the services you can provide,
For each evil deed you can't make amends,
From the world you'll just want to hide.

You'll be living in fear,
To madness you'll steer,
All you'll hear are your victim's cries,
So-called colleagues will then disappear,
Soon on you there's no one relies.

It's never too late,
To get rid of the hate,
Without fear you can turn on the lights,
It's all down to you; you can change your fate,
