When i felt so down, discouraged, and beaten
your love, care, compassion, and concern, made me feel like somebody again
You reached out to me, in my brokeness
And you brought out in me, the champion, that i know that i am, and made me feel ,again, at my best
a simple loving, caring, poem, for me you wrote
it stays in my heRt and mind, like a beautiful song, every word and note
For you have touched me deeper, than deep
your loving, caring, and honest words, stay with me forever, and i will always cherish, and keep
Another person, cant really, know or understand how a person, can be so devastated, down with doom, and gloom
Buw, as you are beginning to see me now, im singing a more, positive, hopeful, and happy tune
No more do i feel, the deep hurt and shame
i feel, happiness, and hope now more the same
I felt, so discouraged, dissappointed, let down, rejected and a failure so solow
But now because of the kindness, care, and concern from, a dear, dear, dedicated friend, i feel a loving glow
