I am praying to myself, to show, grace and understanding
but its in conflict with me, as i know, the truth to myself i am demanding
But in perfect timing, tact and rhyme
i do know, it will take place in due time
So as i have-- said many--- a time
Just gotta play the game, and be reserved, and walk a fine straight line, show grace and understanding, until you confront another, put them in place, and cross that line
But as i know, today is-- not going to be that day
i just gotta show, grace and understanding, and the game--, gotta play
The game of life, living and love, that we all gotta play
Is to show grace and understanding, when communicating with all others, every day
You can be too honest and upfront with some-- people, especially, those who shuned you
you have to be reserved, , one day, you will be up front with them, ----and direct,you will give them back, ----what they so well deserve,--- and give them the truth too
The game-- of life, living and love, we all gotta play
one day the truth you will have the strength to confront them, in perfect timing, rhyme and reason, with no more games to play, and nothing-- but the truth, and the whole truth, come to honestly--, straight up and to the pin point have strength, courage and commitment to all bravely say
So for now, grace and understanding, is what i pray for
And in due time, i will cross that line, when the truth i will conceal, no more
So for right here right now, grace and understanding, is what i pray for--the most
and to do my best, to hold god in my heart, humbly, close
