Its so easy, for others to put down, and to criticise a parent for being an enabler
its exhausting, discouraging, and a nightmare, to worry about your older children, when they are way , way, past there teens, and people shame you as being there enabler
Oh, lord, I know this story, oh, too well
only GOD, knows, all i have been through, with all of, my kids, but especally one son, who will tell me, that, he is, living his dream, he cant hold, a job more, than, a few weeks or a month at, a time, and for years this same story about him repeatedly, the same old same, old i tell
The other kids will say, dad just kick him out
and beleve me i have over and over for the, past thirteen years or so about
Then humbly in a week or so,
home again he will go
So as the dad, again i take him in
then after a few months or less the same cycle will begin
An, enabler
becomes, the DISABLER
But a parent, they in there own time will reach that very last final straw
where in the sand a firm, unbreakable, solid, defining line they, will draw
And they will not take anymore
there will, be a defining moment, of a happening, then, in. An instant, thats it, completely, totally it, and thy back up, hold back, everything for complete sure
The parent, will decide, in there time
thats it no more, bail outs, or worry, or arguing, or concern, now to be selfish for themself, its, there turn, no more help, not even one dime
So all a parent can do is PRAY, every night and day
but still, you feel, worried, concerned, and troubled in every way
A parent, they know, , the strengths and the weaknesses, of there every child
rather it be great, weak, or mild
But an enabler
to another will become there DISABLER
Your own children, will take years off of your life
by how, they treat you, use you ,and abuse you, DISRESPECT, you, ARGUE, with you,want to FIGHT, with you,CUSS at you, SHAME you, put you dowm,, causing you worry, turmoil and great- STRIFE
Every parent, they have there own story, of what they had to endure from there children
Through the years
a story, of great love, great disappointment, great laughter, and, many sleepless nights, and many arguments, and , tears
For every parent, and every grand parent, even aunt and uncle,, and close, family friend
for those who understand, what im talking about, as being an enabler, and disabler, for, a troubled! Family member, daughter or son, my, heart felt PRAYERS, go out to you, THEN
