When Two Thoughts  Collide

when two thoughts run into one another
they unravel
leaving untidy ends

does the strange matter
I think it does
I notice it

does it notice me

life can be flashes of the weird
shadows and lightning
deep quarries mined for impressions
yet none of them stone

impermanence is like the drifting grains of sand
caught suddenly then let go
as you stand in the gathering storm of chaffe
