Poetic-Verses

'' That's Truth Not A Lie ''

When we first met,
The heat was intense,
Caught in her net,
Like a barbed wire fence.

Loving and caring,
Was how it all started,
Dashing and daring,
We couldn't be parted.

When two became one,
Not long after,
I was soon on the run,
Every day she got dafter.

I've got a sore head,
Or a pain in my back,
Usually in bed,
I was under attack.

From ten times a day,
To a peck on the cheek,
This was her way,
My love life was weak.

It's that time again,
Or I'm not in the mood,
Get back in your den,
This is no good.

Don't ask her what's wrong,
They'll make you feel shame,
It will not take too long,
Till you get the blame.

You will say it's a crime,
But keep that within,
They are right all the time,
You just cannot win.

Before you know it,
You are old and grey,
Be careful don't blow it,
Or she'll run away.

The species called woman,
Do not ever decry,
They are alien not human,
