Welcome to My Poetry Site

Shall I not praise you and focus my mind?
Have you not aided me time after time?
Here in this moment my thoughts spiral out,
Though I cannot forget your great turnabout.
Down in the depths I despaired in my soul
Yet even at that place you still had control.
You could have left me there, that I deserved,
But no loving Father could stay undisturbed.
Tears were companions, my heart was beat down.
Your loving touch purged the proof of a frown.

I stand amazed at the power of your care,
Awed by your majesty, hands in the air.
I’d reach up and hug you My Father so true,
Though I cannot pass thru the skies painted blue.
My pathway is clearing my life I can live.
I only hope, Father, to you I may give.
Let my steps carry me to those in need,
And show, sweetest Father, their life you can lead.
This happiness you placed inside of my chest
To them be your witness, your love to attest.
