Im walking quicker and faster
With strength stamina i am with longer strides, starting to get into shape, and endure
I usually go on a little walk, with an average time of twenty eight minutes, exact
But today, it actually was here in MINNESOTA, very, very, much colder, and windy, so i pushed harder, and my walk time, was 24-minutes, a matter of cold fact
So i took four minutes off of my time
Today on my MINNESOTA, walk with rain, and wind, with no more, beautiful, late fall, SUNSHINE
Im walking quicker and alot faster
Today, in the first day, of very cold MINNESOTA, weather and BURR
So when i head to California, i need to continue my mission, and my quest
To walk longer, and faster, and slow but sure make positive--PROGRESS
I know to myself, that i am going to run again
But first i know, i will have to be able to walk quickly miles of ten
If i continue to just walk a little, each day, you cant stop progress
If every day, i just move forward, step by step, at my best
You have to walk before you can run
You have to put in the work, before you can relax and have fun
Think before you act and talk
Put one foot, in front of the other, everyday and just stand up to walk
