whern night  becomes day

I've had my peak experiences here
I've out-grown the environment
its a worn old shoe
in need of repair
pinching and failing to please
I'll wear it no more

moving on
sometimes I've done it in my sleep
on to other re-imagined pasts
where old friends, unfamiliar faces
the people of my dreams
and I'm more satisfied
at last

here there's spice
here there's substance
here there's more connection
to the living space
inside my head

how do I get there
to where I'll be
less fraught
and in a complete disassociation
from my current mindfulness

when night dreaming
becomes day dreaming
the underseas, the undertow becomes
real life
reel life
on a spool unwinding before me

inserting myself
tonight
I can imagine
the cinemagic
