Like A Snow-globe

rainbow bubbles floated up through
the trees
the voices of small children rose up
buzzing like bees
the air was perfumed with rain
the skies were washed with Spring
birds flew down to land in yellow-green grass
moments like these make life
pass
in a blink
what do you think
of the world
its awfully big
but sometimes its so small
I could shake it up
like a snow-globe
all  I need to see is right in front of me
I can see nothing but light

the darkness is gone
