The Awakening

Broken silk to leave behind

Tear stained dreams into the night

Reach for self to somehow find

Freedom of the upward flight

Silent voice within cocoon

To sleep within the silken threads

Whispers soft of someday soon

Encased the tears of inward death

Breath fresh the air of freedoms call

Take now this night to dry your wings

Too long has been the endless fall

Take flight to your awakening
