Poem 799 – Presidential Election 2016 –Written on 11-08-2016
This presidential election for 2016 is almost not even a fair election.
For there is a Tiger facing a baby kitten or as my husband said “A Cat Chasing a Mouse!”
The presidential election candidates are Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump.
When the Election first started, I actually wanted Bernie Sanders; however, things changed
When, Sanders did not make the cut…. I started watching the debates live and I realized what we could be possibly facing down the road with one candidate versus another.
Granted besides the fact I have to look at certain Biblical facts when choosing a candidate:
1) Remembering the rule of Thou Shall Not Murder:
a. Abortion yes is murder!
b. But so is killing us inside and out through Vile and disgracious words!
2) Remembering the rule of Honoring those who are the King
a. In this case the future President as well as those in office
3) Respect for women, immigrants, and employees
a. One candidate treats women like trash
b. One candidate treats immigrants like they have not done a thing to help America.
c. This same candidate is married to an foreign family
d. Treated said employees from businesses like garbage
What has ultimately frightened me is a man with no respect or honor may be president and that disturbs me. Regardless of what I have to say is that only half of Americans voted on the 8th and we resulted in Donald Trump becoming president of the United States starting in 2016. I am rather appalled and disgusted with who America has chosen to be their next leader for the next 4 years.
