I will continue to be glad,
Because of a better reason;
Than lamenting in being sad,
Of what had happened to the Son.

I know that I will be set free,
Through the help that comes from your prayers;
As the Spirit of Christ helps me see,
How much He loves showing He cares.

I eagerly expect and hope,
Having nothing to be ashamed;
Though the torment having to cope,
With speaking boldly as proclaimed.

I will speak boldly with honor,
Whether I live or if I die;
Because I remain a fawner,
With the truth and never to lie.

Christ means everything to me,
In this life waiting for the next;
Even more when I get to see,
Away from a world so perplex.

If I keep living in this life,
My work will produce more results;
I just have to endure the strife,
Of the ridicule and insults.

I am not sure which I prefer,
Finding it difficult to choose;
Wishing God to say and refer,
The direction of His virtues.

I desire to leave this life,
To be with Christ a better choice;
Finally rid myself of strife,
Able to sing as I rejoice.

For I am completely certain,
And I will continue to live;
Prior to the final curtain,
Any past sin God will forgive.

This helps faith to grow seeking joy,
With more reason for having pride;
Never ending song not destroy,
Why in Jesus I must abide.
