Deaf and Blind
Silent screams of
the tormented souls
Can be heard only
by compassionate ears
Invisible pain of the
diseased and disabled
Can only be seen by
the eyes capable of tears
Rest of the people
are totally deaf and blind
Wrapped up in their
own complexes and fears
Incapable of any
merciful charitable feelings
All they care about is
their own nears and dears
the tormented souls
Can be heard only
by compassionate ears
Invisible pain of the
diseased and disabled
Can only be seen by
the eyes capable of tears
Rest of the people
are totally deaf and blind
Wrapped up in their
own complexes and fears
Incapable of any
merciful charitable feelings
All they care about is
their own nears and dears
