Wasn't' all that long ago
I would have Stated--!
I live in God's country
Mt Rainier a beacon in the sky
The Puget Sound nearby
Boating, fishing with a fly
Thowing fish at the market
Neighbors were friends
Nothing had to be bolted down
It was safe to drive at night
Farmers market--don't go there at night
They have no home
But an abundance of stolen guns
Drugs and killings fill the night
Seattle known as Heroin city
and the numnutts call for legalized drugs
Safe house tax paid needles
For the addicts to shoot up
what a pity!
Black was a color and Mexicans
Neighbors from California border
Drugs were aspirin for pain
Not something to drive on insane
Dog were left at home
Not in the drivers seat
or in grocery stores
and that was only
A decade ago
Then they came--!
Graffiti written on the walls
The kids no longer safe playing ball
Gangs fighting over drug control
"Black lives matter!" They bellowed
But reality who was killing whom
The Police were the bad guys--boo hoo!
And when we thought it couldn't't't get worse
Bring on the illegals and the hearses
Marriage between boys and girls
No one could figure out what they were
Next it well be marrying the cur
Sadly in the battle of the States
In the bottom of the list Washington rates
And now they legalized drugs
Tax the rich Heroin needle sites
A gay Mayor in charge of the slugs
All into promoting drugs
How do we pay for"highs" if we pay rent?
Let the taxes pay for us
Homeless came in a tourist bus
Pay nothing live tax free
