Seed-Corn History

Seed-Corn History

The seed whispered while sowing
The corn danced while mowing
Perspiring hands told the story
With sweat they wrote seed-corn history

Labor thou shall win, asserted the fairy
The land noted passion, in its fertile diary
They aren't simple acts-sowing-mowing
The cloth woven by culture-Nature was sewing

The gentle breeze whispered
Through standing crop
The sky showered blue-mercy
Through rain-drop
