Missing you has never been easy
Sometimes it’s the little things that mean so much
Such as watching you smile over something funny
Or asking how to trust?
It’s the little things that will always bind us
Each step that we have grown
From the battles we have fought over
And from all the seeds that we have sewn.
Now there are so many miles between us
A continent apart
A feeling of forever wanting
To heal my broken heart,
But my children you must go forward
And seek out all you’ll find
Some things will be amazing
Others so unkind…
Missing you will never be easy
But I must sit back and watch you fly
Enjoy with you all your achievement's
And reminisce when life goes by,
You will all three always be my babies
No matter how much you have grown
And the seeds of my foundation
Will be for all the world to know.
