Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

Lest you be wise in your own sight,

Ignorant of this mystery;

Unaware of any delight,

Receiving in a victory.

Do not try to be conceited,

Causing hardening of the heart;

Causing mistakes be repeated,

Any time that you may impart.

In this manner you will be saved,

The Redeemer comes from Zion;

Devour those who are enslaved,

Cast out like a roaring lion.

This is His covenant with them,

When He takes away all their sin;

Either confess or He will condemn,

Changing from the way they have been.

They are enemies for your sake,

Loved for the sake of forefathers;

Regards to the Gospel will make,

New creatures out of your brothers.

For the gifts and calling of God,

Irrevocable to anyone;

As you always honor and laud,

While you acknowledge the Son.

You were once disobedient,

But received His mercy and grace;

For becoming judged more lenient,

And now is willing to embrace.

They have now become unruly,

That by the mercy shown to you;

Receives mercy to be truly,

When confession is tried and true.

O through the depth of the wisdom,

Knowledge and the riches of God;

The vast amount in His Kingdom,

All pure and completely unflawed.

Who has known the mind of the Lord,

Who gave God a gift to repay;

To the Father being adored,

For our sins and we obey.
