Whoso does not do what is right,

Also, does not walk in the light;

And has no love for His brother,

But has lusted of another.

You have heard from the beginning,

Love each other and stop sinning;

Unlike as Cain, the evil one,

Anger causing what he had done.

Be not surprised if the world hates,

Because Satan loves lures that baits;

As he will torment you with strife,

Until you pass from death to life.

Anyone who hates his brother,

Caused a murder to another;

No murderer lives forever,

Because ties to God they sever.

We learn how to come to know love,

For He laid down His life thereof;

We should lay down our lives too,

Allowing their love to be true.

You have a material world,

Ignoring Heaven as unfurled;

Because you have your eyes wide shut,

Only concern in seeing smut.

We must not love with word or speech,

Which can easily cause a breach;

Rather having truth and action,

That does not cause a distraction.

We know we belong to the truth,

And not being rude or uncouth;

Convince our conscience to God,

In His presence, why we are flawed.

For if our conscience condemns,

We will receive no diadems;

And Christ has lost all confidence,

Acting upon our defense.

But if we believe in His name,

Willing to love as we proclaim;

Then His Spirit remains within,

Cleansing us from all our sin.
