You shall keep His statutes,
And always keep in mind;
Of sticking to your roots,
Mix breeding any kind.
You shall not sow your field,
More than one type of seed;
Never to mix your yield,
Sow only what you need.
Men who lie with a slave,
A harlot of the street;
Diseases from the grave,
Cause him wrath in defeat.
He shall rue to the Lord,
Confessing for his guilt;
Repentance not ignored,
Causing sin to be built.
What you come in the land,
Plant any tree for food;
Forbidden on the sand,
Not eaten to be rude.
It is a holy place,
Where you will praise the Lord;
And where He shines His grace,
To be in one accord.
Eat the flesh but no blood,
From creatures that you eat;
Washing away the crud,
That maybe on the meat.
No tattoos on your skin,
Cuts that would make you dead;
Consider it a sin,
A harlot in your bed.
Keep the Sabbath holy,
For the One you revere;
True God one and only,
Reverent and sincere.
Observe all His statutes,
All His commands and rules;
Through all godly pursuits,
Act not like pagan fools.
