Fluttering reverie fills
Her silence...
Her room basking
In the afternoon heat,
Is it the scourge
Of a Lonely earth
Or simply a fleeting abyss
Of her being...
When left in solitude,
Braving the sweat and hidden tears,
While the arms of sunset--
Too hard to reach,
She feels so restless,
She hears nothing,
But monologues
Of the nameless,
Where to go
But here...all alone.
