I gather flowers of inspiration to capture
truth and promise, I cannot play a song
with a note not yet wrote.
I light a candle of love, crossing my
heart in peace, I hope in time I can
see my rainbow above the clouds so
white and pure.
I memorize each thought that’s kind
that maybe a smile would appear on
a face brightening their life.
I sometimes wonder if I forgot something
of importance to say before I walk in
the field of flowers, I been wanting
to walk through for so long.
I cross my heart and pray to God. He'll
take care of his children, and show them
the way to find the light to glow above
their own imaginations and en devours.
I see the Universe shine so bright, it's blinding
to gaze for long, it makes the heart a little
meek to see the wondrous heavens, lit with
stray souls waiting to be set free.
