Good Pleasure
Give glory unto His name,
The truth of mercy sake;
Steadfast love to proclaim,
Of faithfulness to spake.
Some ask where is their God,
But God is in Heaven;
Pleases Him if we laud,
As His love is given.
Their idols are of gold,
Molded by human hands;
And silver that is cold,
Rendering no commands.
They have mouths but not talk,
With hands that cannot feel;
Has feet but cannot walk,
And no power to heal.
It has eyes but sees not,
Has ears but cannot hear;
Tells not to answers sought,
Because no mind to clear.
Those who become like them,
For all of those who trust;
Our God will condemn,
For all their greed and lust.
Put your trust in the Lord,
To be your help and shield;
Staying in one accord,
Your illness will be healed.
Fear the Lord He will bless,
Putting your faith and trust;
He shines grace if confess,
Giving up greed and lust.
The Lord has remembered,
Blessing you and your spouse;
Easing where encumbered,
Worshipping in His house.
He will bless those who fear,
Both the small and the great;
Praying being sincere,
The Lord will compensate.
But we will bless the Lord,
Now and forevermore;
Remain in one accord,
And your flaws He will cure.
