A variety of gifts,
That does come from the Spirit;
Inspiration that uplifts,
In all that you do merit.
A potpourri of service,
That are given by the Lord;
Confident and not nervous,
To perform in one accord.
A mix of activities,
But it all for the same God;
That will cure anxieties,
While you honor and laud.
The same God that empowers,
Them all in everyone;
Through all the passing hours,
While reaching each day as done.
Ponder to the common good,
Certified by the Spirit;
For doing the things you should,
In what you will inherit.
By the Spirit one given,
The utterance of wisdom;
Or the knowledge of Heaven,
For the keys to His Kingdom.
The gift of faith or healing,
Miracles or prophecy;
Mysteries of revealing,
With special ability.
Speaking of different tongue,
Another of what they hear;
Interpret that someone flung,
A foreign language so clear.
Each empowered through the will,
As given from the Father;
To each of us to instill,
Relations with the Brother.
Just as the body is one,
The body has many parts;
So is the same with the Son,
As no portion ever thwarts.
Regardless as Greek or Jew,
If you are a slave or free;
No one can ever construe,
Having no eye and still see.
