I only know he was my shooting star whose brilliance came to shine upon me. The dream was within my reach, so close that I could feel the warmth of its breath. The stars inhaled lit up a flaw within him, he was not mine forever but only for a brief time. My joy at fulfilling our wedding plans cut short and ripped from my hopeful grasp. Now I know relationships can be like vapors, here one second evaporating the next. His star in my night sky is a faded beam, his star leaving to merge with another constellation.
