Open the gates of righteousness,
So, I may give thanks to the Lord;
He does incite my consciousness,
And why He is loved and adored.
I am at the gate of the Lord,
Where the righteous shall enter through;
I am at peace in one accord,
With His wisdom that I construe.
I thank Him for He answered me,
And have become my salvation;
With His insight He lets me see,
The basis of my foundation.
The stone the builders rejected,
Has been made as my cornerstone;
The head stone that I selected,
Now in Heaven sits on His throne.
This is all the work of the Lord,
So marvelous in our eyes;
His goodness and mercy out poured,
Shows that He is noble and wise.
This is the day the Lord has made,
Let us rejoice be glad in it;
There is no need to be afraid,
Since knowing what we inherit.
Save us as we pray to the Lord,
For we pray to give us success;
To prosper such a great reward,
With the hopes and dreams He will bless.
Bless be in the name of the Lord,
Bless those who have come to His house;
For He gives them a rich reward,
By coming along with your spouse.
Because the Lord is our God,
He has made His light shine on us;
A light that heals where we are flawed,
Cures the iniquities as thus.
Bind of the festal sacrifice,
Unto the altar with a cord;
So no longer will it entice,
That could cause straying from the Lord.
O, give thanks unto our Lord,
That His love endures forever;
For our God who is adored,
A steadfast love will not sever.
