I Throw My Words Toward Tomorrow

I throw my words toward tomorrow.
Today awashed in the tears
we had to beg for just to borrow
because care refuses to hear.
There won't be anything of substance,
Here after in yesteryear.
Desperation rushes us into haste
Then rushes us into sorrow.
Thunder claps the loudest
to see our fear.
But we know our hearts mustn't
be guided to the place the eyes steer.
That's when instinct tend to act the wildest.
All men future and past acts have
been compacted and pressed within this sphere.
Maybe in tomorrow's eye we'll see a cure.
