 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
Are we to sin not under law,
Not under law but under grace;
By no means since sin cause a flaw,
The Father will never embrace.

Do you not know if you present,
Yourself unto any person;
As an obedient servant,
You are a slave unto the one.

The one to whom that you obey,
Either of sin which leads to death;
A sin that will cause your decay,
And agony after last breath.

But thanks be to God gives a choice,
Of obedience for righteousness;
If confessed your faith can rejoice,
When showered with His blessedness.

For you were once a slave to sin,
Becomes obedience from the heart;
Standards taught committed within,
Corrupted of knowing from the start.

From the sin being then made free,
Have become slaves of righteousness;
With wisdom and insight to see,
Which brings spiritual happiness.

I speak in the manner of men,
From natural limitations;
Just as your impurities then,
Led to lawless expectations.

For when you were a slave to sin,
Freedom from righteousness you had;
Your life was not able to win,
Every day constantly sad.

What fruit did you get at that time,
From the things now you are ashamed;
The things you now that is a crime,
That was normal as you proclaimed.

For the end of those things is death,
Since you became a slave to God;
Sanctification beyond last breath,
Having been cleansed where you were flawed.

For the wages of sin is death,
But from God you have a free gift;
Eternal life beyond last breath,
And from the grave He will up lift.
