I say to walk by the Spirit,
Desire not flesh desires;
For any immoral merit,
Causes evil that transpires.
For the flesh against the Spirit,
Of anything that you may lust;
That you will never inherit,
Salvation in God as to trust.
Lusts of the flesh are contrary,
That opposes one another;
Cause problems to make you weary,
Which is conflicting each other.
But by the Spirit you are led,
You will not be under the Law;
Heavenly wisdom will be fed,
For avoiding another flaw.
Works of the flesh is evident,
Sexual immorality;
Impurity and impudent,
Fits of anger and jealousy.
Envy will be causing you strife,
Because of an idolatry;
That can be disruption of life,
Desires to cause enmity.
Enticement into seduction,
Adultery even orgies;
Prurience of fornication,
That would lead into rivalries.
I warn you as I did before,
Those who do will not inherit;
Because the Lord will lock the door,
Since they walk not with the Spirit.
The fruit of the Spirit is peace,
Having patience with faithfulness;
The joy of love that will not cease,
Self-control through His gentleness.
If by the Spirit that we live,
With the Spirit we keep in step;
The wrongfulness God will forgive,
Giving us a spiritual prep.
