 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
I am weary and worn out,
For I am a stupid man;
Because I am full of doubt,
Since I am having no plan.

Surely, I am too stupid,
Having no understanding;
For my mind has grown torpid,
What God has been demanding.

I have not learned the wisdom,
Nor of the Holy One;
No knowledge of His Kingdom,
And about what He had done.

Who ascended to Heaven,
Gathered the wind in His fist;
With His strength He has given,
Blown away who resist.

Who has wrapped up the waters,
To make the ends of the earth;
Shorelines made as their borders,
Uncertain about its worth.

What is the name of His Son,
Surely you already know;
If you know the Holy One,
What direction did He go.

Every Word of the Lord,
Proving true and is my shield;
For His Word works as a sword,
To the humbled who have kneeled.

Add not something to His Word,
Lest He chides as a liar;
As you proclaim to be heard,
He lights your tongue on fire.

Two things I ask upon you,
Deny not before I die;
But remember to tell true,
Ensuring that none a lie.

Remove falsehood far from me,
Give not poverty nor wealth;
Feed me what is heavenly,
For building spiritual health.

Lest I be full and deny,
That I am poor, and I steal;
I do not slander or lie,
Being guilty as I kneel.
