Your works are wonderful,
Therefore my soul keeps them;
A design beautiful,
That no one can condemn.
Unfolding of Your Word,
Gives light that it imparts;
Understanding as heard,
Simple to our hearts.
My mouth opens and pants,
Longed for His commandments;
While someone else rants,
For causing disbandments.
Be merciful and gracious,
With those who love Your name;
Your way is so precious,
And I strongly proclaim.
For my steps in Your Word,
Cause no iniquity;
Your dominion as heard,
Of my ability.
Save me from oppression,
For keeping Your precepts;
To avoid obsession,
And follow Your concepts.
Make Your face shine on me,
Teaching me Your statutes;
Adhering Your decree,
That my faith expand roots.
My eyes shed streams of tears,
Many keep not Your Law;
Knowing You calm my fears,
To judge every flaw.
