 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

Bless those who are forgiven,
Erasing their transgression;
Blessings flowing from Heaven,
Admission through confession.

Blessings to someone to whom,
He counts no iniquity;
With no deceit to consume,
To defile dignity.

For while I kept silent,
My bones were wasting away;
Making me feel violent,
Tempting me to go astray.

His hand was heavy each day,
My strength dried up through the night;
As summer heat made me prey,
Conflicting me in my fight.

I admit my sin to God,
Exposing iniquity;
Confession of being flawed,
In need of civility.

I confess my transgression,
Asking the Lord to forgive;
Hoping that my confession,
A tranquil peace for to live.

Let all who are godly pray,
At a time when God is found;
As rushing waters shall say,
Having a refreshing sound.

The Lord is a hiding place,
Preserving me from trouble;
Deliverance of His grace,
Rescuing from the rubble.

The Lord will instruct and teach,
In the way that I should go;
He will counsel for to reach,
Follow His eye that will show.

I will be not like a horse,
Without the understanding;
But will continue on course,
How the Lord is commanding.

The wicked make much sorrow,
Their distrusting in the Lord;
But my gladness tomorrow,
With being in one accord.
