A Bobby Sox Moonflower Bouquet

Shy tropic morning glories seek a rendezvous with the moon
A bush symphony of white gramophones who sing to the stars

Like Rudy Vallee and barbershop boys who croon "as time goes by".
and plead to "a vagabond lover" for a brief lunar audience, tonight.

But Nipper RCA the dog, thinks he hears his masters voice and howls
The moon is not impressed with the translation and hides behind the clouds.
