O God, save me by Your name,
Vindicate me by Your might;
Erasing me of my shame,
I seek favor in Your sight.
Hear my prayer to You O Lord,
Give an ear to what I say;
Not letting it be ignored,
From my tongue and lips I pray.
For strangers rise against me,
Ruthless men that seek my life;
They honor not Your decree,
Causing such toil and strife.
You are my helper O Lord,
The upholder of my soul;
You are beloved and adored,
Who I worship and extol.
Return evil to my foe,
Cutting them off in Your truth;
Because You already know,
They are snotty and uncouth.
With a freewill offering,
I will sacrifice to You;
I thank You for answering,
For I am faithful and true.
I praise You for You are good,
Rescued me from my trouble;
Such triumph is understood,
Pulling me from the rubble.
