THE SOUL'S REPOSE !
What is this feeling deep within
that keeps calling, drawing me back
to fulfill some disregard
a miss that has now become my lack.
For oft it comes begging
and pulls my heart back home
to when I was a kid
and in some ways so alone
Every time a dead soul passes
once more beyond life's door
a relative or a neighbor
I knew from years before
Comes the feeling begging
for me to restore her name
in some forgotten, incomplete
little silly thing.
Yet, I know it is their memory
walking so sure through bardol
the Judgement Doors of the soul's repose
calling to me through them.....that's all!
