 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
Think about the former days,
After you were enlightened;
Hard struggles that were always,
The sufferings that frightened.

Being publicly exposed,
To reproach and affliction;
Secrets that had been disclosed,
Of an earthly addiction.

For you had the compassion,
Joyfully took plundering;
Desire for possession,
Of a lustful wandering.

Throw not away confidence,
Great recompence of reward;
But repent for your offense,
Confessing unto the Lord.

You have need for endurance,
About that when you have done;
Start showing your resistance,
Coming from immoral fun.

In a while expect the Son,
Who will come without delay;
Judging of what you had done,
At the times you went astray.

Live by faith being righteous,
Without immoral pleasure;
God will be serving justice,
Before He gives you treasure.

We are not those who draw back,
Those with faith preserves their soul;
Since God provides what we lack,
At our helm in control.
