Out of the depths, I cry,
Please hear my voice, O Lord;
Let your ears hear my sigh,
Let it not be ignored.
Your ears be attentive,
Of my pleas for mercy;
Give me an incentive,
Through your insight to see.
For You Lord, who could stand,
Marked with iniquities;
You save from sinking sand,
And heals my injuries.
When willing to confess,
And that you may be feared;
You offer forgiveness,
Because You are revered.
My soul waits for You Lord,
For in Your Word, I hope;
Being loved and adored,
Endurance helps me cope.
I watch in the morning,
Waiting for Your return;
You come without warning,
Eternally sojourn.
For there is steadfast love,
And ample redemption;
Flowing grace from above,
Giving us salvation.
Redeem iniquities,
That has become a curse;
Cleansing impurities,
That Satan did coerce.
