Gratify not flesh desires,
Rather do walk by the Spirit;
Whatever the flesh requires,
Will curtail what you inherit.
Those wants are against the Spirit,
For they are against each other;
Being immorally merit,
Shaming your sister and brother.
If you are led by the Spirit,
Then you are not under the Law;
You will get what you inherit,
Purifying you from your flaw.
Works of the flesh that manifest,
From sexual immorality;
Jealousy with envious zest,
Having thoughts of impurity.
I warn you as warned you before,
You enter not the Kingdom of God;
Because the Lord will lock the door,
Your transgressions are outlawed.
The fruit of the Spirit is love,
Joy and patience and self-control;
Against such things, no law thereof,
For blocking access to your soul.
Those who belong to Jesus Christ,
Then their flesh has been crucified;
And they will not become enticed,
By lust, the flesh is gratified.
Keep in step, walk in the Spirit,
Throughout each day while you live;
Never let this world inhibit,
Causing the Lord not to forgive.
Let us not become conceited,
Nor provoking one another;
Nor envy to have competed,
Against your sister or brother.
