While we were still weak,
At the time when Christ died;
As the ungodly seek,
Truth in the crucified.
For one will scarcely die,
For a righteous person;
That one would dare lie,
Considered a Holy One.
God is showing His love,
While we were sinners;
As Christ had died thereof,
For us to be winners.
We have been justified,
Saved by Him from the wrath;
By blood the crucified,
When walking the straight path.
When we were enemies,
We were reconciled;
Saved from sinful disease,
And become His child.
Joy in God through the Lord,
We receive atonement;
And walk in one accord,
With whom made the payment.
