I thank the Lord whom I serve,
As did of my ancestors;
Who gave confidence and nerve,
To stand up to protestors.
A clear conscience I possess,
Constant prayers both day and night;
Knowing that the Lord will bless,
Because of Him sees delight.
As I remember the tears,
For I am longing to see;
And no longer have I fears,
But a joyous dignity.
Faith I am reminded of,
That dwells in being sincere;
And is flowing with the love,
Since I worship to revere.
Remember to fan the flame,
That flame is a gift from God;
Laying the hands to proclaim,
While you honor and laud.
He has given us His Spirit,
Giving us love and self-control;
Not of fear in the merit,
A sound mind for our soul.
