You who pursue righteousness,
All who are seeking the Lord;
Look to the rock you confess,
That was already ignored.
The rock from which you were hewn,
You are blessed to multiply;
From the seed that had been strewn,
Come harvest time they will cry.
For the Lord comforts Zion,
He comforts her waste places;
Like the cubs of a lion,
He shelters with good graces.
He makes wastelands like Eden,
Joy and gladness will be found;
A desert like a garden,
The song with a joyous sound.
Give attention to the Lord,
From Him, the Law will go out;
Justice cannot be ignored,
That will not give any doubt.
Judgment to rest in the light,
For His righteousness is near;
His salvation who do right,
That will honor and revere.
The isles shall wait upon Him,
On His arm, they hold their trust;
Be glad never feeling grim,
The Lord is faithful and just.
Lift up your eyes to Heaven,
Look upon the earth below;
For what the Lord has given,
As the sun and moon will glow.
Heaven will vanish like smoke,
The earth will wear out like clothes;
People fade away who woke,
For the lifestyle they chose.
But salvation forever,
Righteousness never dismayed;
Since your faith will not sever,
Believers are not afraid.
