 Sir Ricky's Inspirational Poetry Corner

poetryofadove
Seek the Lord as He may be found,
Call on Him while He is near;
Listen carefully for His sound,
Then worship Him as you revere.

Let the wicked forsake His way,
And the unrighteous man of thought;
Anyone who has gone astray,
As they will return when distraught.

For the Lord may have compassion,
And then abundantly pardon;
After a sincere confession,
And their hearts no longer harden.

For my thoughts are never His thoughts,
Nor is His way the same as mine;
For my ways are just sinful blots,
And are not righteously Divine.

As Heaven is higher than earth,
So are His ways higher than mine;
His thoughts have been a priceless worth,
As His way will perfectly align.

For as the rain and snow come down,
They will not be returning there;
Rather they will nourish the ground,
Giving a harvest a fair share.

So will His Word go in your ear,
For to nestle into your brain;
To grow in your heart to adhere,
As to nourish like gentle rain.

Go out in joy and led by peace,
And the mountains break forth in song;
The trees swaying will never cease,
As the wind blows constantly strong.

Instead of thorns shall come fir trees,
Instead of briers come flowers;
As they sway in the gentle breeze,
And rejoice in the rain showers.

It shall make a name for the Lord,
An eternal sign not to omit;
All creation in one accord,
To strive forward and never quit.
