Be strong and courageous,
You inherit the land;
It is advantageous,
On solid rock, you stand.
God swore to your father,
Promised that He would give;
If not as a loather,
A long life you shall live.
Be strong and courageous,
As you follow the Law;
It can be contagious,
Not to catch any flaw.
The Law that Moses gave,
Turn not away from it;
For sin makes you a slave,
To do evil merit.
The Law shall not depart,
Meditate night and day;
Keep it within your heart,
Learn to trust and obey.
You will have good success,
Becoming prosperous;
Because the Lord will bless,
When you are generous.
Have I not commanded,
Be courageous and strong;
What God has demanded,
Keeps you from doing wrong.
For the Lord is with you,
No matter where you go;
Guiding as you pursue,
Teaching what you should know.
