Understand that in the last days,
That there will be perilous times;
From commandments that someone strays,
Against humanity cause crimes.
For people self-lovers of pride,
Will be arrogant full of greed;
To be unholy not abide,
Ruthless cutthroat as to succeed.
Hardhearted without self-control,
And being lovers of pleasure,
Darkness surrounds a wicked soul,
Hoarding all his earthly treasure.
An appearance of godliness,
But is denying its power;
With no conscience when they transgress,
Disposition that tastes sour.
For among them are those who creep,
Capture weak women for passion;
Preparing to slaughter like sheep,
Lusts in immoral fashion.
Learning without knowledge of truth,
Being corrupted in the mind;
Having no faith makes them uncouth,
Their godlessness has made them blind.
But they will not get very far,
Their folly will be plain to all;
Since they do follow a dark star.
From the grace of God, they will fall.
