Bless God the Father of the Lord,
As per His great mercy and grace;
And born again in one accord,
A living hope in His embrace.
Born again to a living hope,
Through the resurrection of Christ;
Revive again from strife to cope,
Suffered from being sacrificed.
Adopted to be His child,
Inheritance is kept for you;
Unfaded and undefiled,
Imperishable holding true.
Being guarded by God’s power,
Through faith for your salvation;
And revealed at the last hour,
That makes you a new creation.
Greatly rejoice for this reason,
Having grieved through many trials;
Because soon comes the new season,
Ridding your foes of denials.
Your faith is tested genuine,
More precious than silver or gold;
That builds spiritual discipline,
As glory and honor unfold.
You love Him though you have not seen,
For you believe since you have heard;
Of the miracles that have been,
For being written in His Word.
Of your faith as received in the end,
With the salvation of your soul;
For Christ as a Brother and friend,
Someone you know and can console.
